Orange cardamom coffee mocktail ⁠

Recipe ⁠
5 pods cardamom, lightly crushed ⁠
1/4 cup water ⁠
1/4 cup granulated sugar ⁠

1.5 oz cardamom syrup⁠
3.5 oz orange juice ⁠
1.5 oz freshly bewed espresso⁠
1/2 cup Carbon 8 sparkling water ⁠
orange wedges ⁠

For the cardamom syrup, to a small saucepan add water and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, cooking until the sugar is dissolved. ⁠
Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the cardamom pods, cover and let steep for at least 30 minutes. ⁠
Strain the syrup into an airtight container and chill until at least room temperature before using (the syrup will last 15 days in your fridge). ⁠
In a tall highball glass mix cardamom simple syrup with orange juice ⁠
Fill the glass with ice and add carbon 8 water.
Top with Freshly brewed espresso and garnish with orange wedges .
