Blackberry Smash Mocktail
For the Rosemary Syrup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
5 sprigs rosemary
For the rosemary smash mocktail
3 tbsp blackberries sauce (homemade or store bought)
3/4 oz rosemary syrup
Juice of 1/2 lime
Few drops orange bitters
1 cup Carbon8 sparkling water
Fresh aromatic herbs or rosemary sprigs
For the rosemary syrup, to a small saucepan add water and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, cooking until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the rosemary sprigs, cover and let steep for at least 30 minutes.
Strain the syrup into an airtight container and chill until at least room temperature before using (the syrup will last 15 days in your fridge).
In a mixing glass mix blackberries, lime juice, orange bitters, rosemary syrup, carbon8 sparkling water and some ice cubes.
Strain and serve with your favorite aromatic herbs.
