Orange cardamom coffee mocktail
Recipe
5 pods cardamom, lightly crushed
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1.5 oz cardamom syrup
3.5 oz orange juice
1.5 oz freshly bewed espresso
1/2 cup Carbon 8 sparkling water

Method:
For the cardamom syrup, to a small saucepan add water and sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil, cooking until the sugar is dissolved.
Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the cardamom pods, cover and let steep for at least 30 minutes.
Strain the syrup into an airtight container and chill until at least room temperature before using (the syrup will last 15 days in your fridge).
In a tall highball glass mix cardamom simple syrup with orange juice
Fill the glass with ice and add carbon 8 water.
Top with Freshly brewed espresso and garnish with orange wedges .
